<p>In addition, Mark will be exploring the gittern this fall, adding a new color to the ensemble's instrumentarium.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>]]></content></entry><entry><title>Trefoil heads south to usher in Spring of 2010</title><id>http://www.trefoiltrio.com/blog/2010/3/18/trefoil-heads-south-to-usher-in-spring-of-2010.html</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://www.trefoiltrio.com/blog/2010/3/18/trefoil-heads-south-to-usher-in-spring-of-2010.html"/><author><name>Mark Rimple</name></author><published>2010-03-19T03:01:43Z</published><updated>2010-03-19T03:01:43Z</updated><content type="html" xml:lang="en-US"><![CDATA[<p>Spring of 2010 was about to burst forth in North Carolina by the time we arrived there last week. &nbsp;Our spring tour began in Columbus, OH at Columbus Early Music, where we met new and old friends and presented a concert in the Vatican's only property in the US. &nbsp;We travelled to North Carolina with a first stop in the almost mystical town of Asheville, where we dined far above our clerkly stations, finding much beauty in the landscape, the people, and the art. &nbsp;Mark also found some wonderful gluten free options for dining!</p>
<p>Our subsequent stops included a concert and masterclass at Guilford college in Greensboro, Drew's vocal masterclass at East Carolina University, replete with terrific singers in a wide variety of styles and voice types, and a final concert at UNC Pembroke, which was preceded by stops at two phenomenal local barbeque stands. &nbsp;Can you tell Trefoil likes eating the local cuisines? &nbsp;</p>
